Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Directs Pesco High Ups To Fix Distribution Procedure Of Electricity To Minimize Power Outages In KP

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan Monday held a detailed meeting with high ups of the Pesco wherein matters relating to load shedding in the the entire province were deliberated upon and agreed to fix a procedure for distribution of electricity in a manner that extra load on the feeders could be reduced and load shedding brought down considerably in the province.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan Monday held a detailed meeting with high ups of the Pesco wherein matters relating to load shedding in the the entire province were deliberated upon and agreed to fix a procedure for distribution of electricity in a manner that extra load on the feeders could be reduced and load shedding brought down considerably in the province.

He also directed the high ups of Pesco to visit Swat District for properly managing the load-management issue there and resolved the problem of load shedding on priority basis as it always created the problem of law and order in the area.

He issued these directives during his meeting with high ups of the PESCO here on Monday.

He directed to expedite work on Matta (Swat) feeder. He inquired about the progress on the establishment of grid station announced by the former Prime Minister.

Chief Minister said that land has earlier acquired for the said grid station. However the PESCO officers told the Chief Minister that the Federal government did not provide fund for the project.

Chief Minister directed to prepare a case for the establishment of this grid station to be taken up with the concerned federal authority. Chief Minister was assured that work on establishment of feeder and power connection to hospital have been accelerated which will be completed during Eidul Azha.

Mehmood Khan also talked to MPAs Ishtiaq Urmur and Muhibullah to sit with PESCO officers and resolve the problems of their Constituencies. He directed PESCO to prepare a detailed report of their own requirements and problems and hinted that the provincial government will help PESCO to resolve their issues.

The relevant forum will be sensitized and hopefully his government will find a reasonable solution to these problems and issues.
