Roasting Of Head, Trotters Banned

Commissioner Lahore Division Dr Mujtaba Piracha has said that roasting of head and trotters of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha had been banned under Section 144 and the administration would lodge FIRs on violation of law.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :Commissioner Lahore Division Dr Mujtaba Piracha has said that roasting of head and trotters of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha had been banned under Section 144 and the administration would lodge FIRs on violation of law.
He said that roasting of sacrificial animals was the source of anomalous smell which was not good for health and source of general public nuisance and resentment.
He said that cleanliness on the Eidul Azha would be the highest priority and all arrangements to ensure cleanliness had been lined up, but without the cooperation and help of citizens, hundred percent result of cleanliness could not be achieved.
He said that bags for collection of offal were being handed over to people at their doors and also being distributed from purchasing animal centers in the whole division including provincial capital.
The commissioner said that at union council level, 299 camps were being established by LWMC for cleanliness. He said that Eid cleanliness operation under all agencies including LWMC would be operationalised from August 21 (tomorrow).
He said that administration in district Nankana Sahib, Kasur and Sheikhupura were operating cleanliness task bydistrict councils, municipal committees and union councils.
