Commissioner Hyderabad Asks Civic Bodies To Ensure Health And Sanitation During Eid-ul-Azha

The Commissioner Hyderabad Abdul Waheed Shaikh hasasked the heads of the civic bodies to ensure health and sanitation with round the clock offal collection of sacrificial animals from roads and streets during Eid-ul-Azha.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :The Commissioner Hyderabad Abdul Waheed Shaikh hasasked the heads of the civic bodies to ensure health and sanitation with round the clock offal collection of sacrificial animals from roads and streets during Eid-ul-Azha.
The Commissioner issued these directives while presiding over a meeting here at his office on Monday which reviewed the arrangements of health and sanitation during the Eid-ul-Azha.
The Commissioner also underlined the need of fumigation after offal collection in order to save the people from threats of epidemic diseases. The people should be motivated through proper advertisement to dispose the offal of sacrificial animals at the fixed points, he said and asked the departments concerned to set up complaint centres for receiving complaints of the citizens.
The Commissioner maintained that provision of healthy atmosphere is the responsibility of the civic bodies and in this regard, no negligence would be tolerated at any cost. The Commissioner said he would personally visit the city and if any negligence found in offal collection, strict action would be initiated against the concerned officials.
Earlier, the heads of concerned departments gave detailed briefing to Commissioner Hyderabad regarding contingency plans of Eid-ul-Azha 2018.
