Oil Exports to Europe Through Transneft Port Terminals to Drop by 15% in 2018 - Company

Oil exports via Transneft port terminals located in the European part of Russia will be reduced on average by 15 percent to about 91.9 million metric tons year-on-year, Igor Demin, an adviser to Transneft's president, told Sputnik on Monday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Oil exports via Transneft port terminals located in the European part of Russia will be reduced on average by 15 percent to about 91.9 million metric tons year-on-year, Igor Demin, an adviser to Transneft's president, told Sputnik on Monday.

"In 2018, it is planned to export 26.95 million tonnes of oil [a decrease of 12.1 percent compared to the previous year], through the port of Primorsk - 38.7 million tonnes [a decrease of 12 percent], through Ust-Luga - 26.3 million tons [a decrease of 19.6 percent]," Demin said.

According to Demin, it is expected that oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline to Europe will also drop by 2.9 percent, to about 48 million tonnes.
