Prime Minister address hailed in KP, experts term it inclusive, as per reflections of peoples' aspirations

People of every walks of life including politicians, industrialists, nazims and lawyers Monday hailed the first address of Prime Minister, Imran Khan to the nation and termed it comprehensive, inclusive and wide-ranging in all respect besides true reflections of aspirations of masses.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :People of every walks of life including politicians, industrialists, nazims and lawyers Monday hailed the first address of Prime Minister, Imran Khan to the nation and termed it comprehensive, inclusive and wide-ranging in all respect besides true reflections of aspirations of masses.

"The address of Prime Minister was inclusive as it had covered all the key issues including economy, investment, trade, tourism, governance, poverty, education, health and foreign policy received well in local and international circles. The PM had touched the hearts of people of Pakistan," Member National Assembly (MNA), Nasir Khan Musazai told APP.

During last 70 years, he said, no elected Prime Minister in the country had delivered such an inclusive and comprehensive speech, saying it was the voice of people of Pakistan.

Musazai welcomed the announcement of Prime Minister Imran Khan to issue Health Insaf Cards to deserving poor strata of the country as this practice provided massive relief to people of KP.

"In case of diagnose of serious ailments like cancer, hepatitis, HIV AIDs, heart and kidney diseases in poor patients, require millions of rupees for treatment and often they sell their houses and precious land for treatment," he said, adding PM's announcement for Insaf Health Cards to poor patients of Pakistan has created widespread jubilation and a wave of hope among poor segment of the society.

The PTI leader said Prime Minister Imran Khan's resolve to bring all street school children to schools besides introducing reforms in religious seminaries to enable its students to complete with students of formal education system was also praised worthy.

The MNA said around 2.4million students were currently reading in religious seminaries and up-gradation of their curriculum besides computer science and IT would help bring them at par with students of formal education system and will enable them to get dignified jobs.

Musazai said PM has reiterated his strong resolve and determination to wipe out menace of corruption as this social evil was not only creating economic imbalances and disparity but also undermined the growth of institutions of the country.

He said PTI Govt would bring all looted money from abroad and would spend it on development of the country.

Industrial growth and promotion of SMEs sector was imperative for generation of jobs opportunities for people and PTI Government would provide congenital atmosphere to investors, he explained.

Fawad Ishaq, former President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) said that address of Prime Minister Imran Khan was very significant in the prevailing geo-political situation and has created a ray of hope among people of Pakistan.

He welcomed PM's decisions for hiring services of senior technical experts and advisors including Abdul Razak Daud, Dr Ishrat Hussain, Ameen Aslam, Arbab Shahazad besides selecting right lawmakers for right portfolios in his Government as Federal Ministers, saying Imran Khan is fully capable to steer the country out of existing grave challenges.

The SCCI leader said Imran Khan had given a clear policy with a clear direction required for solution of existing issues and fully supported PM announcement for introducing reforms in FBR. "Our 50 pc problems would be automatically solved if we brought reforms in Civil Service and FBR as hinted by the Prime Minister," he explained.

The country's tax-base can enhance by imposing taxes on owners of large bungalows, commercial plazas and luxury cars after thorough investigation. The SCCI leader suggested 25pc special concession in electricity bills and establishment of industrial estates with allocation of plots on easy terms and conditions to industrialists and businessmen that would give impetus to growth of infant industries and SMEs sectors in the province.

Chairman Political Science Department, University of Peshawar, Professor Dr AZ Hilali also termed address of Prime Minister Imran Khan comprehensive and inclusive covering all key issues and provide a comprehensive mechanism and roadmap for solution of existing challenges.

"The confidence of people has increased manifold following the first address of Prime Minister of Pakistan in which Imran Khan had explained external and internal policies besides existing challenges and introduction of reforms in a comprehensive manner." He praised announcement of Prime Minister to establish a good and friendly relations with neighbor countries, adding peace and political stability was vital for economic progress and prosperity of people.

"If Imran Khan Govt. addresses all these issues mentioned by him during his televised address to the nation, it would have brought a real change in the country for which the nation was looking for since 71 years," Dr. Hilali maintained.

Former President SCCI, Dr Yousaf Sarwar also praised the address of Prime Minister and termed it comprehensive and wide ranging, saying it has touched hearts of people of Pakistan even his political opponents.

Imran Khan has selected an important team of professionals in his cabinet and has all the abilities to take the country out of existing challenges.

He said the business community strongly believed that Imran Khan would introduce new economic and trade policies in consultation with private sector that was main stakeholder in the country's economy and his dream for constructing houses and generation of employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands of people can be fulfilled.

Dr Yousaf endorsed the decision of PM for promoting tourism, housing and industrial sectors as it can general jobs opportunities for thousands of youth in the country.

Nazim, Bahadar Khan has also praised address of Prime Minister Imran Khan and termed it reflection of people's aspirations. "Imran had won the elections on the slogan of change and reforms for betterment of the country, and he had clearly explained his mission before the nation in his televised address that was warmly welcomed at national and international forums.

The Prime Minister's speech was a reflection of a true statesman who had sympathy in his heart for deprived classes of society, he explained.

Bahadar Khan hoped the newly-elected prime minister and his team would bring about a great change in lives of youth and poor and his address in which he clearly explained his priorities before the nation.

The lawyers also welcomed Imran Khan's proposal pertaining to expediting cases of widows and decisions on all cases in a year. He said if this happened during PTI Govt tenure, it would be a great relief to poor people especially litigants of the country.
