Bolton, Patrushev to Discuss Bilateral Ties, Int'l Issues but No Fixed Agenda Yet - Peskov

Bilateral relations and exchange of opinions on the international issues will be the main topic of the upcoming meeting of US National Security Adviser John Bolton and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev on August 23 but there is no fixed agenda yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Bilateral relations and exchange of opinions on the international issues will be the main topic of the upcoming meeting of US National Security Adviser John Bolton and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev on August 23 but there is no fixed agenda yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

"Of course, first of all, these [topics to be discussed] are bilateral relations and the state in which these bilateral relations are, and, of course, the exchange of views on the most important international issues," Peskov told reporters, answering the question on the agenda of the talks.

The spokesman also noted that "there is no firmly fixed agenda."

Peskov reminded that the meeting was a follow-up to the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Helsinki.
