MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Kabul does not mind participation of the Taliban movement in the meeting on Afghanistan set to be held in Moscow on September 4, Afghan Ambassador to Russia Abdul Qayum Kuchai told Sputnik.
"If Russia seriously wants the Taliban to come to Moscow, and if they also want to be here and if there will be negotiations with them, we do not mind. It will be good if they discuss peace and security in Afghanistan. If we even refuse [to have contacts with the Taliban], it seems to me that Russia will invite them anyway, Russia has these ties, this is Russia's will, not the will of Afghanistan", the diplomat said.
