Chinese military will take part in the Vostok 2018 strategic exercises in Russia's Zabaykalsky Territory, China's Defense Ministry said on Monday.
BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Chinese military will take part in the Vostok 2018 strategic exercises in Russia's Zabaykalsky Territory, China's Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"According to the agreement reached between the Chinese and Russian sides, the Chinese troops will be sent to Russia to participate in the Vostok 2018 strategic exercises in late August - mid-September, the sides will conduct joint exercises at the Tsugol training range in the Zabaykalsky Territory on September 11-15," the ministry's statement read.
The ministry noted that over 3,200 Chinese troops, 900 units of equipment, 30 aircraft and helicopters would take part in the strategic exercises.
