MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil over a number of international issues in Moscow on Monday.
The talks will revolve around the current developments in the middle East, particularly on the Syrian crisis and the Russia-initiated activities on the return of Syrian refugees. Both Moscow and Beirut actively cooperate on the return as the latter suffers from the overflow of Syrian migrants, hosting around 1 million refugees.
Moreover, the sides are set to coordinate their agendas on the string of international issues of mutual interests and discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
