PHC Seals 94 Quackery Centers In One Week

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Aug, 2018 ) :The Punjab Healthcare Commission closed down 94 quackery outlets in different cities during the last one week.According to available information,the PHC teams had taken action against quacks in 12 cities, including Lahore, along with the police and district authorities.
The teams had visited 373 treatment centres, and closed down 94 quacks outlets.
As per the data, in Lahore, 16 centres, 12 each in Gujrat and Faisalabad, ii in Sargodha, 10 in Pakpattan 10 and eight were closed down in Gujranwala.
Teams of the PHC had visited over 16,350 treatment centres, and closed down 5,213 quackery outlets.
