MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th August, 2018) US National Security Adviser John Bolton said Sunday that, apart from Russias potential meddling in the upcoming US general elections, the United States was concerned over the same actions by China, Iran and North Korea.
"I can say definitively that it's a sufficient national security concern about Chinese meddling, Iranian meddling and North Korean meddling that we're taking steps to try to prevent it, so it's all four of those countries, really," Bolton told the ABC news channel.
The 2018 US midterm elections will take place on November 6.
Since the 2016 US presidential election, the United States has been accusing Russia of interference in its internal affairs, particularly through social media. Russia has repeatedly dismissed these claims as unfounded, adding that meddling in other countrys domestic affairs contradicted its foreign policy.
