RDA Demolishes Two Illegal Shops In Saidpur Scheme

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Aug, 2018 ) :Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) in its special operation against illegal and unauthorized land use has demolished two illegal shops in Saidpur Scheme No 2.

The staff of RDA Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing including Assistant Director BC, Atif Mahmood Ch, Superintendent Building Control, Building Inspectors and others carried out the operation and demolished the illegal shops.

The owner of the property Shah Jahan illegally constructed two shops without prior approval and No Objection Certificates in violation of Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 and RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2007.

According to RDA spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan, Director General RDA, Rana Akbar Hayat had directed the Building Control Wing to take strict action against illegal and unauthorized constructions and commercial activities without any fear and favour. Following the directives theauthorities concerned launched a special operation against the rules violators andstarted taking strict action in accordance with the law.
