3 more children died of malnutrition in Tharparkar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Aug, 2018 ) :The toll of children dying of malnutrition in Sindh's Tharparker region continues to climb as three more children passed away during the past twenty-four hours, reported a private news channel Sunday.

The news channel quoting the Sindh health department said deaths took place at Civil Hospital Mithhi. The deceased were all newborns.

The latest deaths have taken the death toll in Tharparker to 28 during this month.

According to the health department, every year 1,500 children die due to malnutrition, infections and lack of propermedical facilities in the remote region.
