MESEBERG (Germany) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 19th August, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed on Saturday the bilateral relations and pointed out the growth of trade between the countries, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday.
"[The parties] discussed the bilateral relations and were glad to see the positive dynamics in trade. Last year we registered a significant [trade] growth by 23 percent. The trend remains in place this year," Peskov told reporters.
