Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Congratulates Imran Khan

Ameer e Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq Saturday congratulated PTI Chairman Imran Khan on taking oath as Prime Minister.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Aug, 2018 ) :Ameer e Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq Saturday congratulated PTI Chairman Imran Khan on taking oath as Prime Minister.

In a statement here, he said it was a matter of satisfaction that a democratic process of transfer of power had been completed after oath taking ceremony of the Prime Minister.

He said that the Prime Minister should now focus on his election manifesto and fulfil all his promises made during the election campaign.

He said the JI did not believe in opposition for the sake of opposition, and it would appreciate every action of the government taken in the public interest besides criticizing the government for its wrong decisions.

He expressed hope that the new government would ensure the supremacy of the constitution and ideology of Pakistan as well as it would take all steps to strengthen and stabilizethe national institutions.
