13 shopkeepers fined for profiteering in Faisalabad

Price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum imposed fine of Rs 30,500 on 13 shopkeepers for profiteering

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Aug, 2018 ) :Price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum imposed fine of Rs 30,500 on 13 shopkeepers for profiteering.

A spokesman of the local administration said on Saturday the price control magistrate along with his team visited various parts of the city including Lasani Pulli, Sargodha Road, Bawa Chak, etc.

and checked prices of fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, chicken and other food items.

The team found 13 shopkeepers involved in overcharging from consumers.

Therefore, fine of Rs 30,500 was imposed on them.
