Four judges removed from service on charges of corruption, misconduct

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Friday removed three Additional District and Sessions Judges and one Civil Judge from services with immediate effect on charges of misconduct and corruption while, Civil Judge Johar Ijaz Ali Shah tendered unconditional resignation.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Friday removed three Additional District and Sessions Judges and one Civil Judge from services with immediate effect on charges of misconduct and corruption while, Civil Judge Johar Ijaz Ali Shah tendered unconditional resignation.

According to a PHC press release issued here said that Additional District and Sessions Judges Aurangzeb Khan, Naeem Iqbal and Shakeel-ur-Rehman and one Civil Judge Saima Irfan were removed from services.

Civil Judge Johar Ijaz Ali during personal hearing requested to allow him tender unconditional resignation from the services from August 15 and drop further departmental proceedings against him which was accepted by the competent authority.

The disciplinary proceedings initiated against the accused officers were under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Servant (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules 2011.
