Customs Seized Rs 750m Smuggled Items In 7 Months In Multan

The anti-smuggling organisation, Model Customs Collectorate Multan, seized smuggled goods including vehicles worth around Rs 750 million during the first seven months of calendar year 2018.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :The anti-smuggling organisation, Model Customs Collectorate Multan, seized smuggled goods including vehicles worth around Rs 750 million during the first seven months of Calendar year 2018.
Officials said that total 87 non-custom paid vehicles valuing around Rs 176.8 million, and other items worth Rs 576.
2 million including petroleum products, cloth, steel iron products, spices and tea were seized from Jan to July 2018.
Total 81 cases of vehicles seized and 168 cases of vehicles seized with goods were initiated during the last seven months.
The operations were carried out by customs team led by inspector Rana Mujtaba under supervision of collector customs Ambreen Tarar and deputy collector Saqib Ur Rahman.
