KP Handicapped Wins Jashn-e-Azadi T20 Challenge Cup

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Handicapped XI team clinched trophy of the Jashan-e-Azadi Twenty20 Challenge Cup played here at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Friday.
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Handicapped XI team clinched trophy of the Jashan-e-Azadi Twenty20 Challenge Cup played here at Arbab Niaz cricket Stadium on Friday.
Aleem Khan XI club won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up a record 210 runs for the loss of seven wickets in which Rohullah smashed an elegant knock of 58 runs with four boundaries, Jalees Khan (45) with five boundaries, Aleem Khan made 32runs and Kamran smashed 55 runs with seven boundaries.
For Khyber Pakhtunkha Handicapped XI team Moin Khan grabbed five wickets for 35 runs in his four overs spell, two in his first overs on consecutive balls by missing his hat-trick.
In reply, KP Handicapped XI team chased the target in the 19.2 overs. Abdul Salam played well and added a cracking 72 runs including nine boundaries and two sixes as well, Saqib scored 55 runs, Sabz Ali scored 35 runs. For Aleem Khan XI Rohullah and Jalees got three wickets each.
International umpire hailing from Afghanistan Javaid was the chief guest on this occasion who gave away trophies and cash prizes to the winners and runners-up team. Olympian special athlete Nasrullah was also present on this occasion.
