Rs.1.8b Interest Free Loans Provided To Youth: Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister

Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman here Friday said interest free loans are being given to youth under Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme and Chief Minister scheme at provincial level and so far Rs1.8billion loans were provided to youth under CM's Interest free loans scheme.
GILGIT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman here Friday said interest free loans are being given to youth under Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme and Chief Minister scheme at provincial level and so far Rs1.8billion loans were provided to youth under CM's Interest free loans scheme.
He said GB government was focusing on uplift of agriculture sector as it generate jobs opportunities to people in terms of poultry, dairy, vegetable and fruits services.
The CM was addressing youth conference for generation of employment opportunities of youth of GB here attended by cross section of the society and experts in diversified fields. The CM suggested activation of Youth Parliament and assured every possible support in this connection.
In his address ,the CM said progress and development of any society was not possible without an active participation of youth and underlined the need for provision of better opportunities to take full advantage of their potential.
The Chief Minister said constructive direction of youth towards job would usher a new era of progress and prosperity in Gilgit Baltistan.
"From Day one, My Govt. priority is provision of better opportunities to youth and providing Govt jobs to 100pc youth is a big challenge," he said.
He said jobs at public sector departments would be given strictly on merit," he said. Acquiring of education should not be only for achievement of Govt. jobs but for mental growth and awareness of achievement of set objectives in life, he explained.
All available resources is being provided to generate employment opportunities for youth and this is why we are focusing on technical education and professional training of youth, he said. The CM urged youth to concentrate on their studies and work hard in their selected professions forprogress and prosperity of Pakistan.
