MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th August, 2018) Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar discussed the humanitarian situation in Syria and bilateral cooperation at talks in Moscow on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The sides paid particular attention to the issues of prompt settlement of the humanitarian situation in Syria, including the return of refugees," the ministry's spokesperson told reporters.
Besides, the talks addressed "issues of bilateral cooperation between the Russian and Turkish defense ministries."
"The meeting was constructive," the spokesperson noted.
