Engro Corporation Profit-after-tax Increases By 65 Percent In 6 Months

Engro Corporation (PSX: ENGRO) has posted a consolidated profit-after-tax of Rs 11,055 million; up by 65 percent for last six month ending June 30, 2018.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :Engro Corporation (PSX: ENGRO) has posted a consolidated profit-after-tax of Rs 11,055 million; up by 65 percent for last six month ending June 30, 2018.
The profit-after-tax attributable to the shareholders increased to Rs 6,091 million from Rs 3,777 million during comparative period last year, said a statement on Thursday.
The Engro Corporation concluded the first half of 2018 with revenue of Rs 71,733 million; registering 37 percent increase against Rs 52,241 million for the same period of last year. The increase was primarily driven by improved fertilizers and petrochemicals performance.
