"On my way to Berlin where Ill be meeting German Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister @OlafScholz to discuss the UKs proposals for our future relationship," Hammond wrote on Twitter.
On Tuesday, UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt started his three-day visit to Finland, Latvia, Denmark and the Netherlands in order to discuss the United Kingdom's relationship with its European partners following Brexit.
The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in June 2016, with the negotiations between the two parties expected to last until March 29, 2019.
