FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :There must be rule of law and the government should make concerted efforts to wipe out corruption.
This was said by Waleed Iqbal, the grand-son of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal, while addressing a seminar in connection with the Independence Day at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) here on Thursday.
He said that Pakistan was the outcome of struggle of the Muslims of the Sub-continent.
On this occasion, Commissioner Asif Iqbal appreciated the role of the FCCI in resolving civic issues and hoped that the FCCI would collaborate with the administration in future too.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Acting President FCCI Farooq Yusuf briefly explained the Pakistan Movement and said that under the dynamic vision of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam, the Muslims of the Sub-continent achieved an independent homeland.
