Pre-Hajj Operation Concludes

Pakistan International Airelines (PIA) Pre-Hajj operation of transporting intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia successfully concluded.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :Pakistan International Airelines (PIA) Pre-Hajj operation of transporting intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia successfully concluded.
The PIA transported more than 68,000 intending pilgrims with a flight punctuality of more than 95 percent.
The PIA operated 225 flights to Saudi Arabia. This includes nearly 28,138 intending pilgrims through Hajj flights and 39,906 intending pilgrims through regular scheduled flights.
The airlines operated 71 flights from Karachi and transported more than 21,400 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, 50 flights from Islamabad with 15,148 pilgrims, 43 flights from Lahore with 13,960 pilgrims, 19 flights from Multan with 4,571 pilgrims, 07 flights from Faisalabad with 833 pilgrims, 11 flights from Sialkot with 3,708 pilgrims and 24 flights from Peshawar with 8,418 intending pilgrims.
President and CEO of PIA, Musharraf Rasool Cyan congratulated the PIA Hajj team members for successful Pre-Hajj operation and instructed them to provide full support and assistance to the returning pilgrims.
The Post Hajj operation will commence from 27th August 2018 and PIA will bring back more than 68,000 Hujjaj through Hajj and Regular scheduled flights from Jeddah and Madinah to Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Sialkot, Multan and Faisalabad stations.
