Nine shopkeepers fined over profiteering in Faisalabad

Price Control Magistrate Jameel Ahmad Bajwa on Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 33,500 on nine shopkeepers over profiteering.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :price Control Magistrate Jameel Ahmad Bajwa on Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 33,500 on nine shopkeepers over profiteering.

A spokesman for the district administration said the magistrate along with his team visited various parts of the city and checked prices of fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, chicken and other food items.

The team found nine shopkeepers involved in overcharging from consumers and fined them.
