DC Visits Flood-affected Areas In Jhang

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hafiz Shokat Ali visited flood-affected areas of Moza Kacha Mighiana and Bela Rajbana.
JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hafiz Shokat Ali visited flood-affected areas of Moza Kacha Mighiana and Bela Rajbana.
He was accompanied by Additional deputy Commissioner Sajjad Ahmed Khan. In the areas, relief operation was being conducted by the district administration.
Talking to the residents of flooded areas, the DC said that medical relief camps and mobile dispensaries for cattle were already working for the affected areas.
He said that medical camps had expert doctors with plenty medicines to serve the flood-hit people.
These camps have anti snake, anti-rabies and malaria drugs also to deal with any emergency, he added.
He said that there was no urgent flood threat in the district but the flow of water in the River Chenab was also carefully monitored and arrangements had been made to inform the villagers about any threat.
He said a flood control room had been set up at the DC's Office from where every one could get updates about floods.
He said that low level flood was recorded in the River Chenab and the flow of water would become normal in the next 30 hours.
