DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018) The Roads and Transport Authority, RTA, in Dubai has run an initiative for distributing Eid al-Adha gifts to 1,500 students amongst orphans, people with People of Determination and low-income families.
The gesture marks the nation’s celebrations of the "Year of Zayed 2018" and comes ahead of Eid al-Adha in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, Rawfid Centre for Development and education, and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
Commenting on the initiative, Yousef Al Rida, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at RTA, said, "Celebrating the Year of Zayed has given a momentum to RTA’s charitable activities, especially as the Founding Father was a role model for helping the needy among all segments of society."
