Dar Al Ber provides 6,466 sacrificial livestock in 18 countries

DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018) Low-income families in 18 countries from around the world will benefit from 6,466 sacrificial animals (Adahai) to be provided by the Dar Al Ber Society as part of its Adahi Scheme in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

The society will distribute Adahi in collaboration with 28 charity organisations operating outside of the country in line with the efforts made to remember the poor in the happy moments of Eid and create harmony and love among these segments of society, said Abdullah Ali bin Zayd Al Falasi, Executive-Director of Dar El Ber.

"The annual Adahi scheme includes distribution of sacrificial meat in Sudan, Gambia, Niger, Tajikistan, Cote d'Ivoire, Russia, Benin, Tanzania, India, Somalia, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritania, Mexico, Nepal, Mali and Senegal," he added.

He pointed out that the sacrificial lamb starts this year at AED350, noting that the society last year got around AED2,019,465 in donations and provided 6,530 sacrificial animals for poor and needy families in 32 countries in collaboration with 46 agencies from its partners in different parts of the world.
