DUBAI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th August, 2018) As many as 999 terror suspects from 40 countries are being kept in intelligence prisons of Saudi Arabia, local media reported on Wednesday citing the Saudi Interior Ministry.
The suspects are either serving their prison terms or are under investigation over their alleged involvement in terrorist activities and national security issues, according to the Saudi Gazette.
The list of countries includes China, Eritrea, Russia, Sri Lanka, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, Kenya, Canada and Turkey.
The largest number of foreign prisoners come from Yemen, Syria, Egypt and Pakistan, according to the newspaper.
