Former TMO, Private Contactor Awarded 4 Years In Jail, Rs 20 Million Fine In Corruption Case

An Accountability Court, Hyderabad, on Wednesday convicted and awarded 4 years rigorous imprisonment to former TMO and a private contractor in a corruption case.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Aug, 2018 ) :An Accountability Court, Hyderabad, on Wednesday convicted and awarded 4 years rigorous imprisonment to former TMO and a private contractor in a corruption case.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20 million on both of the convicts.
According to a NAB's statement here, TMO, Umarkot Nizamuddin Shahani and a private contractor Mohammad Aslam Solangi were facing trial in Rs 51951404 embezzlement case.
Both the convicts were arrested and sent to jail after the court's judgement.
