PTI MPA-elect Ghulam Abbas Khakhi Laid To Rest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA-elect from PP-222 (Jalalpur Pirwala), Ghulam Abbas Khakhi, who died of cardiac arrest, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard Pul Khara, some 15 kilometer away from Shujabad city on Wednesday evening.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Aug, 2018 ) :Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA-elect from PP-222 (Jalalpur Pirwala), Ghulam Abbas Khakhi, who died of cardiac arrest, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard Pul Khara, some 15 kilometer away from Shujabad city on Wednesday evening.
Thousands of citizens, politicians and civil society attended his funeral prayers.
Four days ago, the MPA-elect suffered heart attack and he was shifted to a private hospital in Islamabad where he remained unconscious till his death.
The deceased MPA-elect won general election after defeating PML-N backed candidate Mehdi Abbas Langah with a huge margin.
Malik Ghulam Abbas Khakhi started his political career in 1980. He won councillor-ship and then contested for UC chairmanship of Jalalpur Khakhi and won the seat. He contested twice for national assembly and provincial assembly seats but he could not win.
He graduated from FC college Lahore and also took partin students politics.
