29 Arrested For Profiteering And Erecting Encroachments In Peshawar

District administration Peshawar arrested 29 persons during crackdown against encroachments and profiteers in different areas of the district on Wednesday.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Aug, 2018 ) :District administration Peshawar arrested 29 persons during crackdown against encroachments and profiteers in different areas of the district on Wednesday.
The arrested persons are included confectioners, grocers, nanbais, cooked tea sellers and others.
On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr.
Imran Hamid Sheikh, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Hamayun Khan carried out checking of different shops on Dalazak Road and Faqirabad areas and arrested 18 persons for erecting encroachments and profiteering.
The arrested persons also include those shopkeepers, who had erected encroachments on footpath.
Similarly, AAC Abdul Wali checked different shops at Khazana Charsadda and Daudzai areas of Charsadda Road and arrested 11 persons for erecting encroachments outside their shops and profiteering.
