A motor boat capsized in the Nile River in Sudan on Wednesday leaving 22 children and one woman dead, local media reported.
CAIRO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th August, 2018) A motor boat capsized in the Nile River in Sudan on Wednesday leaving 22 children and one woman dead, local media reported.
The incident occurred in the northern Sudanese state of River Nile bordering Egypt after failure of the boats engine, Sudan news Agency (SUNA) reported.
The boat capsized because of a strong current caused by heavy rains.
There were reportedly more than 40 children on board of the motor boat.
