Takes oath as the 18th speaker of KP Assembly.
Peshawar (Pakistan Point News – 15th August, 2018) The election for the post of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly was held today, Wednesday.
Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani was elected for the post speaker KP Assembly.
Mushtaq Ghani was PTI's MPA from Abbotabad. He defeated opposition candidate Laiq Muhammad for the election of speaker with 81 votes.
Following the election, he took oath as the 18th speaker of KP Assembly.
