University Of Sargodha Announces BA/B.Sc Examination Results

Girls outshone boys in the BA/B.Sc first annual examination 2018 held under the auspices of University of Sargodha (UoS).
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Aug, 2018 ) :Girls outshone boys in the BA/B.Sc first annual examination 2018 held under the auspices of University of Sargodha (UoS).
According to result notification issued here on Monday, 34,459 candidates appeared in the examinations, of whom 11,185 were declared successful showing 32.53 pass percentage.
Zill-e-Huma, a student of the Punjab college of Science, Sargodha grabbed the overall first position in the BA/BSc examination with 718 marks.
In the BSc exams, 10,845 candidates appeared, of whom 4971 were declared successful which showed 45.95 pass percentage.
In BA examinations, 23,614 candidates appeared, of whom 6214 were declared pass recording passing percentage of 26.37.
In the BSc exam, Zill-e-Huma, a student of the Punjab college of Science, Sargodha secured the first position with 718 marks, Sehrish Tariq of the Superior College, Mialwali stood second with 697 marks while Raeesa Noor of Punjab College of Science, Bhakkar secured 691 marks and stood third.
In the BA exam, Fareeha Batool, a student of Government College for Women Farooq Colony, Sargodha secured 646 marks and stood first; Zabaria Shafi of the Punjab College of Science, Jhang obtained second position with 640 marks while private student Maria Kosar of district Pakpattan secured third position with 619 marks.
UoS Vice Chancellor, Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad awarded cash prize of Rs 30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 with shields and merit certificates to the first three position holders.
The VC announced free education for the top position holders.
