World Number One Halep Beats Stephens To Take Montreal Crown

Montreal, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Aug, 2018 ) :World number one Simona Halep defeated Sloane Stephens of the United States in three sets to claim the WTA Montreal crown here Sunday.
Romanian ace Halep claimed her 18th career title in a gruelling 2hr 41min battle, winning 7-6 (8/6), 3-6, 6-4.
The victory was French Open champion Halep's second win in the tournament following her success here in 2016.
