Murad Ali Shah appointed Sindh CM again  

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the decision after a meeting of party’s parliamentary party held in Karachi on Saturday.

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 11th August, 2018) The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has appointed Murad Ali Shah as the Sindh chief minister, for the second time.

Moreover, Agha Siraj Durrani has been appointed as the speaker of Sindh Assembly and Rehana Laghari as deputy speaker.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the decision after a meeting of party’s parliamentary party held in Karachi on Saturday.

The Sindh Assembly will meet on August 13 at 10am.

The party had earlier nominated Murad Ali Shah as Sindh CM.

The PPP stood victorious in Sindh as it bagged 73 seats of the provincial assembly in the General election 2018. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secured 23 seats while Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan secured 18 seats out of the total 130 Sindh Provincial Assembly seats.
