Rs 20 Million Cheque Handed Over To Chief Justice

Caretaker Punjab Minister for Food and Agriculture, Planning and development Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan Tuesday handed over a cheque of Rs 20 million to Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mian Saqib Nisar for the construction of dams.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2018 ) :Caretaker Punjab Minister for food and Agriculture, Planning and development Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan Tuesday handed over a cheque of Rs 20 million to Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mian Saqib Nisar for the construction of dams.

According to a hand out issued here, the Minister appreciated the CJ vision who took a timely decision to construct Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams. It is also encouraging to see other sectors contributing for the dams voluntarily, he added.

"One of the biggest causes of the energy crisis is scarcity of waterbecause we do not have a proper system of water storage due to which water is beingwasted," he said.
