Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Adeel Ahmed has won PS-98 with 14415 votes.
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Adeel Ahmed has won PS-98 with 14415 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PS-98 Korangi Karachi-VII constituency with 14415 votes. In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Waseem Qureshi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 86049 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Shahid who got 18948 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-98. In 2013 elections, there were 187135 voters registered in PS-98, out of which 116020 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 61.94 %.
