Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate MALIK MUKHTAR AHMAD has won PP-179 with 29314 votes.
Kasur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate MALIK MUKHTAR AHMAD has won PP-179 with 29314 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-179 Kasur-VI constituency with 29314 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Malak Muhammad Ahmad Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 45012 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Malik Khurram Saleem who got 17677 votes. At least 25 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-179. In 2013 elections, there were 145996 voters registered in PP-179, out of which 93928 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64 %.
