Thatta (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Shams un Nisa has won NA-232 with 152691 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-232 Thatta constituency with 152691 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Rafique Ahmed Jamali was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 76876 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Karim Ali Jatoi who got 56838 votes. At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-232. In 2013 elections, there were 299644 voters registered in NA-232, out of which 162888 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 54.36 %.
