Matiari (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Jameel Uz Zaman has won NA-223 with 109960 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-223 Matiari constituency with 109960 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate ABDUL SATTAR BACHANI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 91956 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Dr Rahila Gul Magsi who got 68118 votes. At least 23 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-223. In 2013 elections, there were 300955 voters registered in NA-223, out of which 190965 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 63.45 %.
