Mirpur Khas (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Ali Nawaz Shah has won NA-218 with 75795 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in NA-218 Mirpur Khas-l constituency with 75795 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Muhammad Ameen Fahim was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 95724 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate Abdul Razzaque who got 72423 votes. At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-218. In 2013 elections, there were 288653 voters registered in NA-218, out of which 181432 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.85 %.
