Kashmore (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari has won NA-197 with 84742 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-197 Kashmore constituency with 84742 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD ARSHAD KHAN LAGHARI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 80944 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate MAKHDDOM SYED MURTAZA MEHMOOD who got 67728 votes. At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-197. In 2013 elections, there were 328977 voters registered in NA-197, out of which 195429 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 59.41 %.
