Kohistan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Muhammad Didar has won PK-25 with 6720 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PK-25 Kohistan Upper constituency with 6720 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ubaid Ullah Mayar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 16851 votes. The second runner up was Awami National Party candidate Ghani Dad Khan who got 7793 votes.
At least 15 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-25. In 2013 elections, there were 124135 voters registered in PK-25, out of which 52597 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 42.37 %.
