Swat (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mohibullah Khan has won PK-8 with 21815 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-8 Swat-VII constituency with 21815 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate ARBAB AKBER HAYAT was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 13528 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate ASIF IQBAL DAUD ZAI who got 10458 votes.
At least 19 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-8. In 2013 elections, there were 122782 voters registered in PK-8, out of which 56122 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 47.12 %.
