Bahawalnagar (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Jameel has won PP-240 with 23639 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-240 Bahawalnagar-IV constituency with 23639 votes. In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate SARDAR MEER BADASHA KHAN QAISRAANI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 28821 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate KHAWAJA MUHAMMAD DAOD SULMANI who got 26508 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-240. In 2013 elections, there were 149198 voters registered in PP-240, out of which 84883 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.89 %.
