Bahawalpur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Mian Najeeb Ud Din Awaisi has won NA-173 with 86142 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in NA-173 Bahawalpur-lV constituency with 86142 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 82521 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate sardar muhammad saif ud din khan khosa who got 60258 votes. At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-173. In 2013 elections, there were 358766 voters registered in NA-173, out of which 189004 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 52.68 %.
