‘Abu Dhabi Balloon Festival for Ethiopian-Eritrean Peace’ to begin in November

SHARJAH, (Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2018) The "Emirates Balloon" began its preparations to launch the "Abu Dhabi Festival for Ethiopian- Eritrean Peace," which will begin in November and end in December 2018, and is expected to attract considerable international participation.

The "Emirates Balloon" will fly between the borders of the Ethiopia and Eritrea, with the balloons of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, Al Nahyan, and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia.

Skilled international pilots and many international balloons will participate in the festival.

Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Emirates Balloon, said that the festival will witness the participation of many government institutions from participating countries, and will showcase artworks that will be revealed by the Emirates Balloon on July 2018 in Torino, Italy, as well as the engines and technical equipment used by the fleet of UAE team.

The festival's activities will include a flight between Ethiopia and Eritrea, and several key figures from both countries will ride on the balloon of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, in recognition of his efforts to make the people of Ethiopia and Eritrea, as well as the entire continent, happy, through celebrating the peace process.
